Lanzarote is the perfect place for surfing and offers ideal conditions for beginners, intermediate and pros. There are very few places in the world that offer as many high-quality surf spots in such a small area.
The sandy beaches of Famara, Arrieta or Orzola are ideal places to learn to surf. Surrounding these spots and in close by places like La Santa or Caleta Caballo, you will also find challenging waves for advanced and expert surfers only.
On the island of Lanzarote you will find everything from slow beach break waves for beginners, perfect peeling waves for advanced surfers to hollow breaking waves on lava rocks, destined for the pros. And if you are more of a big wave kind of surfer you will definitely enjoy yourself here during the winter months!
